Wrestling Observer put this on their front page: WWE announced today that WrestleMania 28 did 1.3 million worldwide PPV buys, breaking the record of 1.25 million for Wrestlemania 23. Biggest buyrate in pro wrestling history.
They also wrote that the gross for Mania week was $67 million, also breaking all-time records.
Obviously the reason for this was all of the millions tuning in hoping to get a glimpse of Mr. Eddie.
